Jay Sean Gets U.S. Radio Airplay

Americans may be getting a bigger dose of Jay Sean, who is following in the footsteps of South Asian artists like M.I.A. The sexy R&B star's voice can be heard in mainstream radio stations in the US now, making the way for other Urban Desi artists to follow suit.
The list is small right now, but the few that have been chosen are likely to cause a bigger wave for the Desi artist. Jay Sean already has a major Desi fan base but is close to gaining a large global one, especially with the appeal of being signed to Cash Money Records.
Thanks to Jay Sean, this will be another step in helping the South Asian community move forward and gain global recognition in the field of music.

his success will all depend on the radio play he gets - i hope he gets a lot. Having said that I wish the song with lil wayne was better - i think the tracks he did before cash money were much much better - I think Down is an average track nothing special
