Jay Sean Dishes on 'Do You Remember' Sean Paul Collab

October 21 2009 09:15 PST

Jay Sean is ready to release his new track "Do You Remember." After his first single "Down" hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart recently, expectations are high for his new release! But there is no need for this Cash Money Records member to worry; Sean Paul and Lil Jon have got his back!

The Jamaican dancehall artist and U.S. rapper both feature on the U.K. singer’s new track. And now Jay Sean has revealed how this cool collab came about. The meeting between Jay Sean and Sean Paul was no typical music biz set up. They actually bumped into each other randomly on the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards red carpet.

DesiHits.com talked to Jay about his latest venture and this is what he told us: "The Sean Paul collabo was crazy 'cuz we bumped into each other at the VMA's and within a week we were on the same track. We exchanged digits, he said he wanted to do a track together so I took him up on his offer! He absolutely smashed it, I love his verse. I'm so excited about this one."

Wow! Sounds like a red carpet event can do a lot for your career!

"Do You Remember" will be Jay’s official second single and the first track off his upcoming album "All or Nothing" set to drop on November 24.

We can’t wait to hear Jay Sean’s U.S. debut album; how about you? Share your thoughts!
