For all of you Hip Hop fans sleeping on Jay-Z due to him pushing back his long awaited 'Blueprint 3' album, it's time to wake up!  The un impressive 'Jockin Jay-Z' song and the super hot ultimate rapper team up  in T.I.'s  'Swagga Like Us' song left Jay Z fans unsure of just what quality we would get on his next album. But on this new remix of DJ Khaled's 'Go Hard' Jay-Z's laying down his best verse of the year.

The original version of 'Go Hard' features Kanye West and T Pain and came out around the end of the summer. The production pretty much follows the title with producer's The Runners absolutely killing it on the instrumental.  T Pain lays down a great chorus and although Kanye West made one of his best appearances on the original version his lyrical superior and "big brother" Jay-Z completely out raps him on the remix. I hope he's doesn't throw a temper tantrum after hearing the verse.

After listening to the 'Go Hard' remix my interest in 'The Blueprint 3' returns with hopes of some classic Jay-Z for 2009. But he needs to stop rocking those ridiculous scarfs's and put a hoodie and some timberlands on! In order for Jay-Z to succeed with his next album he needs to bridge the gap between the Jay-Z that retired in 2003 and the one who returned in 2006 with a new and disappointing "grown man" identity on the 'Kingdom Come' album.  Although the 'American Gangster' album was a nice comeback in 2007 it still was a pure concept album leaving the character of Jay-Z completely out of it, leaving us unsure on what he was going to do next.

One thing's for sure, this 'Go Hard' remix gives us the Jay-Z we want. Let's just see if he can do it for a whole album on 'The Blueprint 3'. Tell me what you think of him on DJ Khaled's 'Go Hard' remix.
