Leading Punjabi singers Sarbjit Cheema, Babbu Mann, Jazzy B, Jasbir Jassi, Inderjit Nikkuand and Debi Maqsoospuri all lent their support against female foeticide and drug addiction in Punjab last week.

Jasbir Jassi, who gave us the popular track “Kudi Gujarat di”, had first started the idea of cultural programmes with social messages in 2005 at his native village Dalia Mirjanpur in Gurdaspur district.
