This just in… Kajol Mukherji’s father, Shomu Mukherji passed away this morning of a heart attack. 

Shomu was a famous Bollywood film producer who had produced and directed films like ‘Chaliya Babu,’ ‘Patthar Ke Insaan,’ ‘Lover Boy’ and ‘Nanha Shikhari.’ He’s survived by his daughters Kajol, Tanishaa and wife Tanuja. 

This sad news unfortunately comes just one day before Ajay's directorial debut, 'U Me Aur Hum' also starring Kajol hits theatres.

Our sympathies go out to their family at this difficult time.
