Bon voyage Kanye West! Kanye West has apparently convinced himself that he has done all he needs to do here in America and wants to move out to Paris, France! He believes the move should be made in order to fully pursue his interests in fashion.
"I'm moving to Paris and I have a relationship with Louis Vuitton, and it's like, Look how far I took that relationship to the biggest record label, and look where I took it in music," said West, who earned over $40 million dollars in 2008.
Speaking of Louis Vuitton, Kanye West has been hard at work on the fashion side of things, having his own sneaker and a clothing line that is forthcoming. He has been trying to intern for the fashion giant in the hopes of learning gradually. The 31-year-old rapper and producer extraordinaire has recently been making claims that this is a move that could mean him no longer rapping or producing. How do you say "Don't quit" in French?
Kanye West confirmed his thoughts in the March issue of Details Magazine. "There's nothing more to be said about music," the 31-year-old artist told Details. "I'm the f****** end-all, be-all of music. I know what I'm doing. I did 808s in three weeks. I got it. It's on cruise control. Man, we talked about music for God knows how long! Now let's talk about how my f****** sweater didn't come back right from Korea. That's what's interesting me."
Kanye West has to be bored with things. I mean, he's already conquered producing, rapping, won countless awards and has received heaps of praise by everyone. If he wants to conquer fashion and make us all wear neon orange Louis Vuitton sneakers and tight plaid jeans, then that's his choice. As long as he doesn't leave music to do this, it's all good. So tell us what you think? Do you give him props for wanting to achieve another goal or are you concerned that Mr. West is jumping off the deep end yet again? Let us know your thoughts on this matter!
