Our desi girl Kareena Kapoor has become a global figure. The actress who wooed Hollywood star Sylvester Stallone got noticed even by the UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown. The beautiful actress was invited for a gala event by the House of Commons as the special guest of the PM at his residence at Downing Street on November 18th. She was supposed to meet the PM himself and also be honored as the international ambassador and join the Silver Star charity that helps in spread awareness about diabetes. Leading members from different fields like political, business, arts and culture, sports were present at the unique occasion but unfortunately, Bebo couldn't make it. She was tied down with her prior commitments to Sajid Nadiadwala for whose film' Kambakt Ishq' she is shooting with Akshay Kumar in Mumbai.

Kareena's official spokesperson confirmed the news, 'Kareena was looking forward to attending this prestigious event where she was being honored but unfortunately because of her shooting commitment, she had to opt out. But she intends joining the Silver Star charity and working closely with them soon.'
