The MTV Video Music Awards are always an occasion for the stars to shine and impress us with their new hot outfits, and this year is no exception. Lady Gaga is in fact already hyping her upcoming performance at the show that will air on September 13.

And it sounds like there’s more to Gaguita’s show than meets the eye:
"I would say that the fashion for the performance is a representation of the most stoic and memorable martyrs of fame in history. It's intended to be an iconic image that represents people. I think after watching the performance and maybe studying it after you watch it on YouTube, you'll see the references and the symbols come through," she told Newsweek.

Oh, sounds mysterious!

And to add secrecy to the mystery, Lady Gaga promises some interesting light works:
"I like it to be moody. I like it to evoke an idea more than light my face. It's not about what you see. It's about what you don't see, and sometimes that vacant space can be very scary."

We can hardly wait to see what the kitsch star is up to this time!
