The nominations are in and Canada has spoken! Canadian R&B singer Deesha has picked up her first JUNO nomination in the R&B/Soul Recording of the Year Category. This sexy, sultry and exotic talent was born and raised in Toronto. The world’s hidden gem has been making some impressive moves over the last several years. Her recently released debut album ‘Life Less Ordinary’ includes her chart-topping Canadian hit ‘Falling In Love’ along with 12 additional self-penned confessions of love.
The 2007 Juno Awards ceremony is being hosted this year by none other than our favorite promiscuous girl herself, Canada’s own Nelly Furtado. The event is taking place in Saskatoon and will be broadcast live on CTV on Sunday April 1, 2007.
Deesha is the ONLY artist in her category unsigned and without distribution! Deesha’s nomination is definitely recognition of her hard work and natural talent. Desi Hits! congratulates you and wishes you ALL the best on your big night!
