The singer’s on holiday in India with her family and Australian author Gregory Roberts whose autobiography ‘Shantaram’ is set in India (which by the way is being made into a flick directed by Mira Nair and starring Johnny Depp!)

The three of them were seen hitting up religious spots like synagogues, churches and mosques. She even walked through the slums of Mumbai and went to a flea market… guess she’s not as materialistic as she once claimed she was! But the icing on the cake is that she even met one of our B-Town stars, Suneil Shetty!!

Seems like Madge can’t get enough of India, because she’s been there since New Year’s Eve!... But really can you blame her? Hmm… maybe this means she’ll be incorporating some Desi sounds in her next album which will be releasing this year!
