Manorma is all about a small town engineer played by Abhay Deol who would rather make his life out of writing suspense novels. But since his first attempt brings him no luck he decides to stick to his day job. But one night a lady (Sarika) comes to his door asking him to play detective and find out about her husband's activates.

However, as he is collecting his information he comes to know that Sarika isn't who she claims and the very same night she is murdered. From then on he is more and more intrigued and can't rest till he is able to find out what happened to Manorma and how and why she got killed that night!

His investigation progresses and the secrets he unravels leave him shell shocked. What happens next is what the rest of the film all about. Another good film for a debutant director. All in all a good film and a good possibility for the weekend... Desi Hits!
