A song about every woman's 'favorite' time of the month. Who would have ever thought right? Well the Queen of R&B, Mary J has decided to write about her feelings on being premenstrual. 'Roses' a ballad featured on her latest album 'Growing Pains' is about Mary opening up about one of those days that women can all relate to.

Blige who was having a horrible day the day before she wrote the song 'Roses' says she felt like "being in a dark hole with sweet and salty things and not be bothered." When asked by her husband what was wrong with her she told him how she felt. "I lost my cool, I was really emotional," said Blige. The next day in the studio her husband producer Kendu Isaacs told her to write about it. My husband said, "OK, talk about how you feel,' and I said, "Give me the green light and I'm going for it. I freestyled it. It is definitely a song for the chicks!"

Well ladies thanks to Mary we are pretty sure 'Roses' will definitely be every girl's anthem now. So guys beware.. Every girl needs her 'Roses'!
