The Mayor of London, Ken Livingstone, was a special guest of Amitabh Bachchan on the sets of "Aladdin" after Livingstone expressed his desire of seeing a film being canned during his trip to India.

And the ever hospitable Bachchan, who is playing the genie in the film, was filming in Film City and made sure that the Mayor got what he asked for. In true B-Town style Livingstone was made to feel like the man of the hour as he was given the honor of giving the clap for one of the shots. The film also stars Riteish Deshmukh as Aladdin and Sri Lankan model Jacqueline Fernandez plays the role of Jasmine.

Before visiting the "Aladdin" sets, Ken Livingstone was also seen hob knobbing with the who's who of Bollywood as he made all efforts to woo the industry's producers and directors to continue the extremely profitable habit of filming B-Town films in the UK.
