She's the latest chick on the Bhangra scene, and her first single, 'Laila' has been generating a buzz in the industry.  Who are we talking about?  Soundpipe Record Label's newest signing, Nitasha!  In an industry that's not really known for females, Nitasha's hoping to break the mold.  With her R&B flavored sound and her ability to sing in English, Hindi and Punjabi, that just might happen.  In fact her single, 'Laila' is a perfect example of that, with a Bollywood meets R&B sound, a Desi hook by her label mate Bee2 and a rap by Horizon.  Phew!  This girl's got all her favorite genres on lock!  With idols like Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Christina Aguilera and Prince, it should be interesting to see if she includes their influences on her album.  Sounds like we'll be hearing a lot more from Nitasha in the months to come!
