Pantaloon's Femina Miss India World 2008 narrowly lost the coveted crown of Miss World to Miss Russia, the tall, blonde haired Ksenia Sukhinova last weekend. It was undoubtedly a grueling journey to the end, which included everything from bathing suits, talent shows, and evening gown portions. In the end India's beloved Parvathi Omanakuttan still came out as the first runner up, which will make her a pride of the country.

Moving forward it'll be interesting to see what Parvathi has planned to do next. She told some sources, 'I am looking for a career in films but have not really planned my future as I first need to go on a long vacation to calm myself. However, I hope good roles come my way.' Parvathi's continual hard work in different beauty pageants has given her a well earned vacation. Parvathi isn't too far off from the dream of becoming the next Bollywood movie starlet either as Indian Miss World beauty queens very often go on to become actresses, examples which include the likes of Aishwarya Rai and Priyanka Chopra. But the question begs to be asked whether or not the reigning Miss India is considered as beautiful and sexy as her crown would say she is by all and thus worthy of the next career move she hopes to transition into, which would be film.

The twenty-one year old from Kerala, India now resides in Mumbai and wore an above the knee plum colored dress to a recent press meet at Olive, showing off her hot body.
