What We Think:
The soundtrack has six great soulful songs that include one or two versions of the same tracks adapted to different moods. The title song "Tum Mile," by Neeraj Sridhar and Pritam, is very original. The soundtrack features a love remix version of "Tum Mile" beautifully performed by Javed Ali. The track also comes in a rock version with sufi singer Shafqat Amanat Ali. Javed Ali sings the soulful rock track "Tu Hi Haqeeqat" that represents the signature tune of the film, which you may have heard in the promos. KK has always been a part of Pritam's albums and we hear his influence in the two passionate and emotional numbers "Dil Ibaadat" and "O Meri Jaan." Mohit Chauhan is yet another familiar voice in Pritam's pack and he performs the lively yet slow-paced song "Iss Jahaan Mein." Finally we hear "Soul Of Tum Mile," which emphasizes the theme of the film with sound of thunder and slow movement in the music.
Best Tracks:
All tracks are equally good!
Final Verdict:
Pritam is certainly on a roll this year. He has come up with hit after hit and "Tum Mile" is a great gem for all types of audiences. The only problem is that this soundtrack consists of only male singers, so we won't know how co-star Soha Ali Khan will perform her songs. Anyway, this may well be one of Pritam’s best albums this year! You better believe it!
