It’s official - Nivla and P. Oberoi as a part of Soul Tap Records are going to the Super Bowl!! Desi Hits! broke the story last month that launched an intensive voting campaign for the Doritos Crash the Super Bowl contest and with the fans help 'Be Easy (Koi Naa)' by Nivla and P. Oberoi made it into to the top three videos.

As a result, Nivla and P Oberoi have landed a distribution deal with Interscope Records. But it’s not over yet… They still need YOUR votes to get them to the #1 voted video. Out of the three finalists, the most voted on video from Jan 7th to Jan 27th will have their video aired as a commercial during the Super Bowl.

Currently, thanks to your votes in December Nivla and P. Oberoil fly out to Los Angeles this month to shoot a big budget music video to the track that first got them into the competition, ‘Be Easy (Koi Naa)’. The video will incorporate Hip Hop, Desi and Reggae elements and is being shot by famed director Malcolm Jones, who’s done videos for Cassidy, Lil Mama and Avril Lavigne! It's 60 seconds of this video that will air during the Superbowl “...will bring Desi culture to the forefront of America”! says Nivla. It’s truly ground breaking as not only are Nivla and P. Oberoi the only Desi act to be featured in the contest, but they are also the only Hip Hop act as well.

So during Super Bowl weekend (February 2nd to the 3rd) Nivla and P. Oberoi will be performing at several of the Super Bowl pre-parties and will also be at the Superbowl game itself where the winner will be announced. Yet, in order for Nivla and P. Oberoi to have the video for their track ‘Be Easy (Koi Naa)’ (which you can download for FREE from the Desi Hits! Free Downloads page) to be featured as a commercial on national television, they still needs your votes once a day every day from January 7th to January 27th on the Doritos Crash the Super Bowl website: www.myspace.com/doritoscrashthesuperbowl.
