Pal D may not be a name many know, but you have probably heard his voice, his name is one worth remembering. He is not a newcomer on the bhangra scene, in fact his debut was in 2002 on the album "Danger 2". Pal D was also featured on Aman Hayer's album "Groundshaker". It wasn't till 2006 when Pal D released his own album titled "Standard Procedure." The album was not as successful as Pal D had wanted so he took a short break. However during this time, Pal D was featured on one of Bakshi Billa's tracks.
Pal D had been working for two years on his new album "Diamond in the Rough" which has been released by VIP Records. Pal D became very involved in creating this album, not only does he sing, but he also composes. The album features the voices of Surinder Shinda, Harvinder Bhinda, and Lembher Hussainpuri.
He has released a video for this album which is a medley. This medley features 4 out of the 10 tracks off his album. The tracks are Chak Chanjaraa, Tere Bol Pyaare, Tere Vargi Kudiye, and Badaam Rangiye.
The video features a group of bhangra dancers and very clearly distinguishes between the four tracks with a change in background color as well as the written text naming each track and recognizing the featured vocalists.
Check out his video 'Medley' and share your thoughts on Pal D and his new album.
