We have gotten use to Paula Abdul's encouraging and motivating performers after Simon Cowell's gives his harsh comments. Well, the ever pleasant and encouraging days of Paula Abdul as an American Idol Judge has seemingly come to an end.

According to officials, Paula Abdul may not return to the show for the upcoming ninth season of American idol due to the company's  hesitation in stepping up to Abdul or  her manager to offer her a new contract deal.

According to Abdul's manager, David Sonenberg " I find it under these circumstances particularly unusual; I think unnecessarily hurtful,"  adding "I find it kind of unconscionable and certainly rude and disrespectful that they haven't stepped up and said what they want to do."

 In April during 'Late Night with David Letterman' Abdul stated "I love the show, I do." After she was asked if she thinks she might be replaced on the show, Abdul said, "I don't think anyone [can].... Whenever there is change it's not about replacing anybody; it's about possibly moving on."

As for Abdul's co-workers, host Ryan Seacrest was able to set up a sweet deal of $45 million contract with the idol team. There has also been talk of Simon and Randy being in the process of renewing their contracts and Kari showing interest in returning to the show.

With all the speculations surrounding the news of Abdul's position and what she might do, she recently tweeted on twitter:

Sonenberg recently stated that Abdul is not pleased by the recent actions,  "She's not a happy camper as a result of what's going on. She's hurt. She's angry," Sonenberg said.
