Vince Vaughn, Jason Bateman, Kristen Bell and Jon Favreau are just a few of all the Hollywood stars featuring in Vince Vaughn’s new movie "Couples Retreat" about four couples that go to a tropical-island resort for a holiday...and some therapy sessions.

But the buzz on the Desi scene is all about Karen David, the Indian-born English singer and actress who got a cameo role in "Couples Retreat." Karen talked to DesiHits.com about landing the role in a big Hollywood production and revealed all the preparations that go into a premiere night.

"It was so tough to be stuck on an island with the likes of Vince, Jon, Jason, and Kristen. The things we have to do for our art ...," said Karen. But all jokes aside, she admits that getting the part was a dream come true. "It was like a paid vacation. And the times we had off were great for relaxing...although it did feel like I was on a honeymoon without ‘the man’."

So how does one prepare for a premiere night of this importance? Walking the carpet is just the starter at an event like this where all the actresses are working hard to outshine one another and grab the spotlight.

"There's a lot that goes into getting ready for a premiere, I had no idea! lol ;) Make up, hair, nails, facials - I know this sounds very girly but it takes up a lot of hours in the day and the next thing I knew, I was on the red carpet for photos and interviews,” said Karen, adding “I was a little nervous as it was my first Hollywood red carpet and there were a lot of photographers flashing in your eyes and calling your name to look here and there. But it was fun, and great to see all the cast and crew turn up to watch the end results!"
