In a few days, 2008 will be a distant memory and we will all wait in anticipation, for the hot new must see movies for 2009. But 2008 isn't finished yet and I would like to take all of you Desi Hits readers back with a must see list of movies for both Bollywood and Hollywood from this year that you may have missed. These are some of the most popular movies of this past year with all of our favorite actors for good reason and there is still time, so let's all get out there and have a little fun while supporting the film industry!
Phylis' Bollywood's Top Films of 2008 List

Singh Is Kinng: Which stars Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif and is a story about a Sikh boy who is trying to win the attention of the love of his life.
Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na: Which was produced by Aamir Khan and stars the 'Ghajini' actor's nephew Imran Khan and Genelia D'Souza is a romantic comedy.
Golmaal Returns: Stars Ajay Devgan and Kareena Kapoor and is a comedic story of a wife who doesn't believe in her husband.
Jodhaa Akbar: Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai star in a period film chronicling the Mughal Emperor Akbar and his marriage to Rajput Jodhabai.
Race: An exciting action/thriller which features Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor and Sameera Reddy.
Some of the last few films from 2008 also include 'Rab Ni Bana Di Jodi' and the highly anticipated 'Ghajini'.

The Dark Knight: Starring Christian Bale and the late Heath Ledger in the sequel to 2005's 'Batman Begins' comic book based movie series.
Wall-E: An animated film about a robot in the future who sets out for a journey into outer space features Ben Burtt and Elissa Knight.
Iron Man: The comic book story which stars Robert Downey Jr. as the weapons salesmen turned superhero.
Revolutionary Road: Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio unite for a film based on the book by Richard Yates about the life of a struggling couple in the fifties.
Rachel Getting Married: Anne Hathaway as a recovering addict who attends her sister's wedding.
Doubt: Meryl Streep in an amazing performance in a film about a nun who suspects the priest of the Catholic school to be a child molester.
Brad Pitt's new movie The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is about a boy who is born in New Orleans just after World War 1, he is already in his eighties when he is born, and proceed to live his life aging reverse. The film follows his unusual life into the 21st century.
