Menis is part of a new wave of urban Asian artists who are breaking boundaries for the Asian scene in the UK.

Menis aka Brown Boy is the rapper and frontman of the duo Menis & Nazza-T.  He rose from a background in the burgeoning UK grime scene, but assimilated the influences of his Indian upbringing and love for all things hip-hop to become something of an ambassador for Asian rappers in general and open the public's ears to a fresh new sound. From his incisive yet comical social commentary in the underground anthem "Sshh!" to songs like "Life" reveal a deeper side to Brown Boy’s persona, where his candid delivery and honest, meaningful lyrics blow apart the stereotypes that have grown up around MCs coming out of the Asian scene Menis is the foremost of a new wave of Asian talent sweeping the globe. Rapper, club host, radio personality and spokesman for a generation, Menis is now locking down urban nights all over the country and hard at work in the studio on his forthcoming solo material.
