Priyanka Chopra Ruffled by Ashutosh Gowariker's Comments at the IIFA

Priyanka Chopra is a pretty hot lady. But she's not merely a pretty face, she's a talented actress too. A lot of people would say that she was deserving of the Best Actress Award in the movie 'Fashion'. But director Ashutosh Gowariker had something else to say about her acting skills, making Priyanka extremely uncomfortable.
During his speech at the IIFA he said, "Priyanka I love you, but I don't know how you got the award for Best Actress when Aishwarya was also nominated in the same category for 'Jodhaa Akbar'."
His attempt to cover up this faux pas didn't help, "Maybe it is because you are very hard-working and she is a natural...Jayaji was just asking me the same thing."
Sufficed to say, Priyanka Chopra was astonished that Ashutosh Gowariker would say such a thing. She avoided him at an IIFA after party by saying "I don't want to go there and see his face." Someone at the event said Priyanka is furious that Ashutosh went on a public platform and questioned her Best Actress award for Fashion."
It was tacky gesture of Ashutosh Gowariker to share his opinion so openly at the awards ceremony. We understand why Priyanka Chopra was so mad. We want to know what our readers think. ashutosh should stop making crappy movies and maybe one day an actres in his movie might just win best actress. India is trying to move forward but making movies that are over 200 years old and expecting to win in every category is just stupid. I actually like priyanka is fashion, that movie was definitely what describes modern india

Maybe he's warning her that he'll never cast her in a film because he's only capable of directing actors / actresses who don't need his help, meaning "natural" actors / actresses. This is sour grapes because his leading lady didn't win.
I wonder how he feels now. He hurt a classy lady in public. Quel jerk.

aishwarya is a natural? lolllllllllll she aint a natural..she's just a bool licker and whatever she has got till now is coz of too much bootlicking. how could this guy (ashutosh) say such an stupid thing? I know aishwarya do alot of bootlicking to him but that doesn't mean he should degrade others. Priyanka is beautiful,hardworking and talented so she should just laugh it off coz it was something really stupid and ridiculous and she should be proud of the fact that she has got the award. good luck Priyanka!
yah he was honest, and then tried to cover up and made a bigger mess. its a "big" deal because it was said so openly but Priyanka should just continue working, clearly the industry is supporting her...she did win after all =)
well everyone open to their comments so is ashitosh,even I'm to mine i still believe Amir and Shah Rukh did better role than Hrithik.So why did Hrithik get the awards...?????? See everyone has opinion.
