Madhur Bhandakar’s ‘Fashion’ promises to be a stunner, especially with actress and ex-model Priyanka Chopra playing the lead role. The actress is pretty excited about her character. "I'm a girl from Chandigarh who comes to Mumbai and becomes a model. Then, I become a super model. Later on, I play a character who faces a lot of problems. Finally, comes my last look. They are all distinct but merge into each other. At no point will the audience say, 'Oh God! What has happened to her?'" Priyanka says.

The former Miss World's look in the Madhur Bhandarkar film has been styled by Rita Dhody, who considered fashion trends at least three seasons ahead while working on the film. "Instead of designing five looks for one character who goes through different phases in life, I designed Priyanka into five different characters. She stands out beautifully in each," reveals Rita. 

But styling the beauty queen wasn't an easy job for Rita. "There were disagreements between us," Priyanka admits. "Rita would say, 'I want you to wear this.' And I would refuse. Eventually, she'd convince me saying, 'Your character demands you to be like this,'" she says.

The actress’ recent films,  ‘Lovestory 2050’ with beau Harman Baweja and ‘Drona’ with Abhishek Bachchan, bombed at the box office. She has her hopes pinned on ‘Fashion’ and her other upcoming film, ‘Dostana’.
