VH1 viewers vote anthem 'Fight The Power' by Public Enemy as the best hip-song ever. A politically driven track that exploded onto the scene in Spike Lee's 'Do The Right Thing', 'Fight the Power', became a war cry for social injustice and political corruption. Sharing the spotlight with Public Enemy are some of hip hop's pioneers; The Sugar Hill Gang, Salt 'N Pepa, and Dr. Dre.
This coming Monday, September 29th to Friday, October 3rd, fans will have the opportunity to check how their votes match up and take a journey through the world of hip hop, as VH1 premiers their 5 part series, '100 Greatest Hip Hop Songs Ever'.
