Q-tip, the Queens rapper from the group ‘A Tribe Called Quest’ is back on the solo beat after touring with them last year! An intelligent and at times political rapper, Q-tip’s smooth voice and soothing lyrics of sorts, is working on his a new album, ‘Renaissance.’ Q-tip is one of the few rap artists that has consistently thrived in the music industry for over a decade. Of course, like any other rapper he too has worked his way into films and television but most would agree with us when we say, this superstar rapper is a stand-out….there’s something special and very intelligent to his delivery in his acting and his rhymes…he’s confident, yet humble, smart, relatable and progressive. After working with the likes of Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson, he’s hooked up with D’Angelo, Common, Andre 3000 and returned to positive messages and personal empowerment on ‘Renaissance’. His album is set to release in late Summer or Early fall later this year.
