Whether we like to admit it or not, a star's virginity and sexuality or lack thereof is something that's often speculated and discussed in the media in Hollywood, but not so much in Bollywood.  Remember when Britney Spears was still a school girl virgin until her ex boyfriend Justin Timberlake admitted to having sex with her?  Well, in that case she was forced to talk about her sexuality, but there are stars like the Madonna and the Jonas Brothers who openly talk about their sex life or lack of one.  But in Bollywood it's still widely considered a taboo to talk about one's sex life, but there are exceptions, like Ranbir Kapoor, who in an interview with GQ magazine in India opened up about losing his virginity at a young age.

The chocolate pin-up boy gained fame from his debut film, 'Saawariya' even though it flopped at the box office.  He even bared his naked bum in a now notorious towel dropping scene!  There's no question he's been open about his life since he stepped foot in the limelight.  He's always been open about his relationship with fellow Bollywood star Deepika Padukone and they even told magazines all about how they fell in love, something that in the past was very rare in Bollywood for young stars still dating to do. 

Now in a recent interview with GQ Ranbir admitted to losing his virginity when he was 15 years old and talked about his first sexual experience.  And that's not all he's even opening up on things that many teens experiment with, things like marijuana, alcohol and cigarettes.  He's quoted as saying, "There was marijuana, there was alcohol; I started smoking cigarettes."  While you may not agree with the things he's done, it is refreshing to have a Bollywood star opening up about his past and being frank about it.  Can't help but think what girlfriend Deepika thinks about the interview!
