Hundreds of millions of people took to the streets of India singing and clapping to honor the elephant headed god Ganesh.  Spotted in the crowd were Bollywood's very own Rishi and Ranbir Kapoor!  The two joined the celebrations for the last day of Ganesh Chaturthi, a ten day festival that honors the birth of Lord Ganesh.  On this occasion, a giant idol of the deity is created and immersed in water, symbolizing his merging with the universe.  This act marks the return of the god to his destiny as the festival ends.

Ganesh is the remover of obstacles, and with all the madness coming out of B-town these days, it makes sense for celebs to take part in this festival.   Over the course of the ten days, we have seen Katrina Kaif, Madhur Bhandarkar, Karan Johar, Priyanka Chopra and other industry folks participate in the holiday's rituals held in Mumbai.
