Desi Hits! has done it again! We hooked up dancehall star Sean Paul with Urban Desi talents Baba Kahn, Lomaticc and Sunny Brown to create a remix of Sean Paul's club banger "So Fine." The cool collab presented a win-win situation as an Asian remix of "So Fine" opens up a whole new market for Jamaica's main man, all the while allowing Desi artists to work with a famous mainstream performer.

This exclusive Atlantic Records release presents a massive opportunity for the 747 Records trio, but the hook-up didn’t come that easy.  We sent Sean Paul and his camp many remixed tracks before he decided to go for theirs.

"Baba Kahn and Lomaticc’s recreation of "So Fine" added spice to my track. I hope people enjoy the Desi Hits! remix as much as they did the original!" said Sean Paul. 

For Baba Kahn, the remix is a great chance to break into the mainstream.

"Sean Paul is the type of artist that has pure club bangers and you can easily throw down four-five Sean Paul tracks through the night, so it was a perfect opportunity as his music is so energetic at clubs and my DJing style reflects constant energy. Therefore, when you fuse them together, you get the perfect combination."

And it wasn’t hard for the Urban trio to find inspiration for the track as they were already working on Kahn’s upcoming album "Culture Shock 2."

"Myself, Sunny Brown & Lomaticc have been hard at work at "Culture Shock 2" producing new beats and tracks all day long. I guess you could say, we found the inspiration through our current project because we are trying to fuse both east and west cultures using our music and this opportunity could not have come at a better time," said Baba Kahn.

So what does the remix sound like?

"The remix encompasses my style of production with Lomaticc & Sunny Brown. We have a very unique style of meshing two worlds and riding that fine line so that both cultures can enjoy the mix whether or not they understand the lyrics. But the beat is so banging that you have no choice but to bob your head and snap your fingers. Now stop reading, and spin the tune!"
