Though there’s very little info out on the highly anticipated album, Desi Hits! has learned that Jay Sean is locked down in the studio doing some serious work! Jay is concentrating on more of an international sound so we’ve gotten to know he’s moving away from the whole "Desi" hype. After all, he IS a multi platinum artist and internationally known! Don’t be disheartened Desis ...a couple of tracks will still have the Desi vibe and of course, the album will feature Juggy D. and Veronica. Most of his songs are based on his real life experiences. He’ll be incorporating sounds from across the globe. These include Chinese and African beats, a bit of bhangraton (that's bhangra + reggaeton) and lots more. We’re the first to tell you that one of his tracks titled 'City Girl' has a Chinese sample. It’s based on his tube (for those of you that don’t know, that’s London’s subway) journey to University (ladies….he’s not only fine but before he was singing he was a straight A student studying medicine!). Everyday he’d see a Chinese gal on the tube and they’d share nothing but a smile…LUCKY GIRL!!!
