Shahrukh Khan has teamed up with some fellow Bollywood actors and singers in a star-studded video tribute to Michael Jackson for would have been his 51st birthday today.

The "My Name is Khan" star has asked his famous friends including actors Shahid Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif, and Priyanka Chopra as well as singers Shankar Mahadevan, Shaan, KK, Shreya Ghoshal, and duo Vishal-Shekhar with cricketer Yuvraj Singh to appear in "Make it Large - A Tribute to Michael Jackson."

"The entire world was upset about his demise and so were Shekhar and I. We happened to meet Shahrukh and he also expressed his thoughts about doing something that would be befitting the stature of the man who entertained us for decades. This is how the idea around the music video was born," said Vishal Dadlani who wrote the lyrics to the song.

The clip was directed by SRK’s associate Samar Khan and will be available online today at SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment website. But if you think that the biggest names in the movie industry are doing this to make money, think again.

"The video wasn't created for making money. It's a tribute and I am sure there are millions out there who would want to grab a copy of the song for themselves. We are more than glad to share our sentiments with the rest of the world," said Vishal.

It’s nice to see some of the giants of B-town paying respects to the King of Pop!
