The producers of an old regional film of Shilpa Shetty have announced their plans of re-releasing the film dubbed in Hindi in the first week of January 2008. And this has left the actress stunned and largely embarrassed with the release of a dubbed Hindi version called 'Shilpa – The Big Don' in the first week of January 2008.

It is the story of an auto rickshaw driver called Shankar, belonging to the middle class section of the society. Shilpa, who plays a money-lender and a lady don, is portrayed as a boorish character. She is unscrupulous in recovering loans given to the poor and designs crude methods to recover money.
And after all the image building that Shetty has worked hard to create for herself in the West the release of this film is the last thing Shilpa would want. The makers have even designed a website www.shilpathebigdon.com in the name of the Hindi dubbed version of the film. Just looking at the promo posters, we can only imagine how Shilpa must feel.

it feel good
That poor girl! I feel so bad for her, but ultimately she did do the movie, but of course she never expected it to release years later. It's sooo obvious that the flick is so old!
