In the UK, the box office grosses exceeded that of 'Guru' as well as 'Rang De Basanti' and 'Don' for the same period. 'Salaam-E-Ishq' was released with local language subtitles in markets like Germany, Belgium and Holland in mainstream multiplex chains.
