The 73-year-old Dalai Lama is admitted at New Delhi's Sir Ganga Ram Hospital because of reported abdominal pains, and a speedy surgery (as early as the end of this week), might be needed, according to hospital officials. His Holiness' spokesman commented on the incident, saying, 'there is nothing to worry about' because the Dalai Lama is simply 'undergoing routine tests'. Though, the spokesman warns that there is a large chance 'that the Dalai Lama will be operated upon, most probably tomorrow'. His Holiness will reportedly remain in the hospital till Saturday at the least. A similar incident occured in August, when, due to abdominal pains, the Dalai Lama was admitted to a hospital in India. Maybe it's all the spice in desi food, no?
