Star-Studded Evening at GQ Man of the Year Awards

B-town’s biggest celebs all showed up at the GQ Man of the Year Awards event held at Mumbai’s Grand Hyatt hotel Sunday night. Bollywood's best came out to party; Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, Irrfan Khan, Karan Johar, Lara Dutta and Abhay Deol all lit up the evening with their presence!

The star-studded show was hosted by "Wake Up Sid" star Rahul Khanna and entertainment numbers included an upbeat act by a hip-hop dance troupe from the U.K TV hit "Britian’s Got Talent." Desi Hits! CEO Devraj Sanyal attended the event and confirmed that it was the place to be!

So who took home the trophy of Man of the Year? While competition was rude, with big shots like Amitabh, Abhishek and Irrfan in the crowd, it was Saif Ali Khan who finally bagged the reward! However, it seemed like the "Love Aaj Kal" star thought someone else deserved to win, and it’s not who you would think! "For me at the moment Kareena is my Man of the Year," Saif said about his victory.

Is there something the "Kurbaan" couple hasn’t told us? Well, not so fast, Kareena did go on to win the title of Woman of the Year, saying "Being called Woman of the Year is a lot different from receiving a film award. It’s a great honor." Congrats to both of you!

Amitabh Bachchan received the Lifetime Achievement Award and "Road,Movie" actor Abhay Deol was awarded with the Breakthrough Talent title. While it’s probably an honor for a budding B-town star like Abhay to be rewarded for his achievements so far, an icon like Big B seemed more worried about where to put the trophy; "Well, now I’ll have to make more space to fit in yet another award," he said.That’s also a way to react!
