From Juggy D's comeback to AG Dolla's debut song "Club Crazy," the Bhangra scene was on fire this summer as we saw in part I of our hit list. So who made it to part II? It isn't exactly a predictable list as both a long awaited release and a newcomer impressed us. Check out the rest of this summer's hits!

To the surprise of many, Bhangra artist Des-C got his big break when he co-wrote the Bollywood hit "Move Your Body." As we all wait patiently awaited his debut album "First Flight," Des-C released his single and video "Jiska Hasna." The video is shot in a diner and bowling alley, which gives it a retro feel. Des-C's unique and sexy vocals, along with his one of a kind video, make "Jiska Hasna" a hit!

2007 was the summer of Imran Khan as his single "Ni Nachle" dominated the charts. It took him two years but Imran finally released his album "Unforgettable" this summer and it became an instant hit. His 2nd single "Amplifier" was released days before "Unforgettable" and it remains on the charts everywhere. Though "Amplifier" is not a traditional Bhangra tune, rather a more Urban vibe, Imran Khan takes pride in being a Bhangra artist. "Amplifier" has cheeky lyrics and hot rides! This song is pushing the envelope on the Bhangra scene and makes it to this summer's top tracks.

Earlier this year the Bhangra scene lost one if its greatest talents, Kaka Bhaniawala. He was only at the beginning of his career when he left us, but his voice lives on! Newcomer DJ Gurps had the opportunity of working with Kaka this summer and released his album "Expectations." Kaka's "Daru Peeke Nachda" features the Bhangra DJ. "Daru Peeke Nachda" is a traditional Bhangra song with dhol beats and talented vocalists. Despite Kaka's passing, his voice lives on as he continues to dominate the charts.

Last, but most definitely not least, Miss Pooja ended our summer with a bang! Not only does she represent the female vocalists on the Bhangra circuit, she is also making waves with her new album "Romantic Jatt." This Punjabi beauty is pumping up her style with a new wardrobe and added accessories. Her music also got a few updates with more modern beats and edgy flair. Rishi Rich teamed up with Miss Pooja and brought us the summer banger "Kise De Naal."

Well there you have it DesiHits! readers, the top Bhangra songs of summer 2009! We met some new artists, got a hot comeback, a few makeovers, and long anticipated album release all in one season. With all these summer hits, we expect many more in the fall.
