Many of you agreed that Mumzy and Jay Sean truly started the summer on a right note when we shared the Urban Desi hits from the first half of the summer and everyone is still enjoying their hits! Which artists released songs after these hits that caught our attention? Don't worry, there were plenty!

Menis knew how to make an impact on the music scene and he wowed us with some catchy lyrics and fun beats. Not only did he deliver hit song "Kool 2 B Asian," he even impressed us with a star packed video! From Rishi Rich, Kazz Kumar, to Terry Mardi and Swami Baracus, the stars all appeared in Menis' simple yet fun video. Menis is a memorable character and his song "Kool 2 B Asian" is one to remember from this summer.

Panjabi Hit Squad has given us hit after hit. This summer their song "Meri Jaan" featuring Alyssia was just that - a HUGE hit. Alyssia's vocals are sweet and fun and the beat on this song is sick. Its fun vibe made it a true summer hit. It got us excited about Panjabi Hit Squad's new album.

From one sexy lady to another, Amar with producer Timbaland released the single "Masala." This song quickly became a hit with Amar's quirky style and cheeky lyrics. The song is quite a catchy, in fact it can get stuck in your head for a good while. Her amazing performance at the London Mela got "Masala" into our summer's hit list.

August has come to an end and schools and unis are preparing to get back in session. Who gives us our last summer urban Desi summer hit? The 747 Records Trio: Baba Kahn, Lomaticc, and Sunny Brown. During the summer they released their club hit "Bombay Bo" and the "Bombay Bo Bootleg Remix." Yes the song is fun and was causing quite a buzz; however, when these artists released their video and gave us a fun scene with sexy ladies and a sold out concert, this song truly took away the end of summer blues and reminded usthat we still have a week left until school starts again!
