We have already told you about Taj-E's latest single off his forthcoming album 'Sik 'n Twisted'. As is customary by most Bhangra artists, Taj-E released a teaser video for his latest single offering titled 'Bundook'. There were mixed reviews about the clip of the music video from our readers, but now that the full version is out; I wonder if opinions will change.Taj-E is probably hoping that people will enjoy not only the song, but also the video as well.
Taj-E has been hard at work first recording the album, then promoting 'Sik 'n Twisted', and now finally making the music videos to go along with the songs. The video for 'Bundook' is really--well, kind of strange. It seems to be about a lot of things including Bhangra music, lip synching children, and old style gangsters. I am not too sure what Taj-E Sik was going for in this music video and I am not even really sure if it works. But the effort is still visually appealing and fun to watch.
What does work is the traditional vocal stylings over a track that sounds in a way like it's already been remixed. Kaka Bhaniawala not only makes an appearance in the song, but in the end he and Taj-E Sik make and appearance in the video as well. The sound is pretty smooth and it has an infectious rhythmic beat that will be fun for any Bhangra infused soiree.
So I want to know what our readers and fans of Taj-E think about 'Bundook' now that you've seen the entire music video. Do you like the song and do you think the music video makes the song better? Or are you just left wondering what possessedTaj-E to spend all that money on a video that doesn't quite make sense? We can't wait to read your opinions and comments on Taj-E, the song, and the music video. Watch the video below.
