Ooh, looks like there's more to The Bilz than talent and good looks. Right here on Desi Hits! we presented to you footage of the boys riding rickshaws and eating maharaja macs on their trip to India. Well the boys got more out of their trip than just a good time!

When The Bilz and Kashif went to India recently, the plan was to close a deal that would have their music feature in an animated Bollywood film, and while that did happen, something else affected the them and they had to do something about it.  When they saw the on going conflicts in the region, especially those that involve children, the guys felt a responsibility to create awareness.  Thus, 'One Voice' was born, a song that touches on the many subjects that are affecting the world and how one voice can make a difference that we all must stand up and stand for change.  It also features the beautiful religious Hindu mantra, the Gaytari Mantra.  The video itself features moving images of children and people in the conflicted areas. 

The best part of this is that all of the proceeds of the sales of the track via iTunes and Jamster will go to War Child Canada, a non-profit organization that supports war affected children around the world.  Plus the boys plan to release an accompanying video in January which will be a tribute to the people of Mumbai in light of the recent terrorist attacks. 

DJ Vicious had this to say about the single, "One Voice is something we wanted to do for global welfare.   Experiencing the gulf war with my family as a child was a life changing experience that I will never forget, so I felt a need to do something for war-affected kids whether in India, Pakistan, or around the world." 

We have to salute the guys as this is a very noble thing to do.  In a time where many artists are so self absorbed and into making money, The Bilz and Kashif are creating awareness about a very important subject affecting the world today.   Watch the video below and let us know your thoughts.
