Twentieth Century Fox premiered the new film 'The Day the Earth Stood Still' in New York yesterday and featured the cast which includes Keanu Reeves, Jennifer Connelly, and Jaden Smith and director Scott Derrickson. Jada Pinkett-Smith and Will Smith also attended the premiere. The movie is a remake of the fifties classic about an alien named Klaatu coming to Earth with his mighty robot Gort.  Klaatu's mission was to deliver a message to the world leaders, but things don't go as planned leading to tanks and people getting vaporized. The film is sure to have amazing special effects as is customary and will be released world-wide on the 12th of December. The movie will be dubbed in Hindi with the title Maha Pralay - Aasman se Aakraman. It is sure to be an exciting adventure in the vein of such movies as 'War of the Worlds' and 'Independence Day.'
