"Wax on! Wax off!" Will Smith's ten-year-old son, Jaden Smith, is set to star in a remake of 'The Karate Kid', which originally starred Ralph Macchio in the high kicking lead role in 1984. The film is set to begin shooting next year in Beijing, as well as other exotic locales. As if being Will Smith's kid wasn't cool enough! Now, Jaden can add travelling around the world for a movie role to the list! The remake will (not surprisingly) be produced by daddy, Will Smith's, production company, Overbrook Entertainment, with Columbia Pictures putting up the cash. 'The Karate Kid' spawned parts two and three, but no word yet of plans to film more than one remake. We wonder who'll be cast in Pat Morita's role as Jaden's wise, and wisecracking teacher, Mr. Miyagi. If only Big B was free...
