Brooklyn based rapper, the1shanti's new album, The Spice, (Laskar Music) as released with the group, Func Spec, is out now and we've got snippets of some of the tracks, as well as behind the scenes pictures and video.  Func Spec's members are, artist, Sho 'Nuff and RnB artist, Marko Dutta, and their album boasts a mix of Hip Hop, Tabla, Dhol, percussion, sitars and more.
