With all the recent remakes in B-Town lately from ‘Sholay’ to ‘Don’ it’s no surprise that H-Town getting in on the act! Word is Michael Jackson is making a remake of his classic album, ‘Thriller’ to celebrate the 25th anniversary of its release.

And just like SRK had the help of the sexy Kareena Kapoor in ‘Don,’ Michael’s not alone either… The hip hop industry’s biggest names at the moment: Kanye West, Akon and will.i.am are along side the ‘King of Pop.’

While we’ll leave you to decide whether he’s a pedophile or not, we can’t help but wonder… since he’s pretty much persona non grata in the US, is this an attempt to bring him back in the limelight? Are these artists just extending a friendly hand, or is it just another case of Bollywood to Hollywood, remaking classics for the younger generation?
