Tom Cruise fans in Asia are really in for a treat! The Hollywood hunk is going to pay a brief visit to Asia in the middle of January! And for those of you fans in Mumbai don't fret because the buzz around town is that Tom Cruise will also be cruising into Aamchi, Mumbai for at least a day! A Fox Star Studios India rep said that the company that is marketing and distributing the new film in India is 'currently in talks with our office in the US to work it out, but nothing is confirmed yet.'
Why are the Hollywood gods smiling on us here in Mumbai? Well apparently he is on tour to promote his new flick 'Valkyrie,' which is based on the true story of Colonel Claus Von Stauffenberg (Tom Cruise's role), who was the man with the daring and ingenious plot to eliminate one of the most evil tyrants the world has ever known - Adolf Hitler. We will be sure to let our readers know once there is a concrete confirmation in Tom Cruise's Mumbai plans, but as of right now January 17th will bring him to Seoul, Korea for three to four days, possibly with Katie Holmes and their daughter Suri. Tom Cruise may also be accompanied on his Asian tour by the famous director Bryan Singer who has a pretty cool resume which includes films like Superman Returns, X Men, X2: X-Men: United & The Usual Suspects to his credit. In the meantime while "Valkyrie" was released in the U.S. on Christmas day, it is slated for release in India on February 2009 and in addition to Tom Cruise, also stars Kenneth Branagh, Bill Nighy, Tom Wilkinson, and Carice van Houten. Hopefully by the time the release date rolls around, so will Tom Cruise!

Himmler jus gt a passing mention, Goehring didnt say anything, Goebbels wasnt introduced at all apart frm a few lines at the end .. i wud say too many cracks in the story .. very difficult to get a sense of the plot by jus watching the movie .. it seemed to b focussed more on Stauffenberg than the plot itself .. so typical of hollywood :|
