With 2008 rapidly coming to a close, it's time to reflect back on the year that was 2008.  With ramp walking divas, hot beach bods, and slimed down stars, this year has definitely been an eventful one!  With that in mind I'll be bringing you the hottest recaps of the year with my top 5 picks for everything from hottest leading man, and best newcomers to hottest hook up!  Check out my top 5 list of the sexiest Bollywood bombshells of the year!

5.Kareena Kapoor:  Love or hate her, Kareena Kapoor is one of the biggest names in Bollywood. While her animated fare, 'Roadside Romeo' tanked at the box office, her next film, 'Golmaal Returns' fared much better.  But let's face it; Kareena Kapoor was in the news more often for her much talked about love life and her size zero figure rather then her movie roles.  Her relationship with Saif Ali Khan is followed feverishly, maybe even more then her movie career! Her media presence alone qualifies her for the list.

4. Deepika Padukone: The gorgeous gal made her debut in 2007's 'Om Shanti Om' but her fame carried well into 2008!  While she only had one release this year, 'Bachna Ae Haseeno,' it proved to be a successful one for the former Maybelline model. Plus like my number 5 pick, she's been in the press for her steamy love life with her 'Bachna Ae Haseeno' co-star, Ranbir Kapoor.  With 'Chandi Chowk to China' hitting theaters in January, the future looks bright for this lady.

3. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan: She's often hailed as the most beautiful woman in the world and for good reason; at 35 the former Miss World is more stunning then ever! She had two hits to her name this year, first the epic love story 'Jodhaa Akbar' with Hrithik Roshan and the second, a power packed performance in 'Sarkar Raj' co-starring her hubby Abhishek Bachchan and father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan. Plus let's not forget the highly successful Unforgettable World Tour alongside her husband, father-in-law, Madhuri Dixit, Preity Zinta, Ritiesh Deshmukh, and Vishal and Shekar. There's no doubt this gorgeous gal is a force to be reckoned with.

2. Katrina Kaif: This beautiful British beauty's name seems to be on everyone's lips these days!  While she may not be known for her acting chops or her impeccable Hindi, she does have seven back to back hits to her name, including the monstrosity that was, 'Singh is Kinng.' Salman Khan's gal may have ended the year with 'Yuvvraaj,' a flop, she was the most searched person on Google and she was voted the Sexiest Asian Female of the year by Eastern Eye, a UK based magazine.  Plus the much talked about fight between her bf and Shahrukh Khan all went down at her 24th birthday party, which reportedly created a rift between the actress and her bad boy boyfriend.  Whether she liked it or not, the she was dragged into the feud and created even more media coverage for herself.  Scandals aside seems like this girl has a bright future ahead of her!

1. Priyanka Chopra:  While my number one choice may be a little controversial, I'm sticking to my guns with this one!  The sexy Priyanka Chopra had a quite a busy year with 6 releases in 2008 which includes the mega flop, 'Love Story 2050' co-starring her real life boyfriend Harman Baweja.  'God Tussi Great Ho,' 'Chamku,' and 'Drona' didn't fare any better and it seems like Piggy Chops career might be flailing.  Not to worry though, as she proved her acting skills with her powerful performance as Meghna, a small town girl turned supermodel in Madhur Bhandarkar's 'Fashion.' Then came one of the biggest hits of the year, 'Dostana,'in which Priyanka Chopra showed off her sexy, slim figure in a sparkly gold bikini and her hot outfits throughout the film cemented her status as a bombshell.  Her much talked about but never confirmed relationship with Harman Baweja  also kept her in the headlines.  While she may not have had as many hits as Katrina, she has one thing that Kat does not, pure acting talent, thus she's my pick for the hottest Bollywood Bombshell of 2008!
