This summer has given us a huge amount of Urban Desi hits as artists we have grown to love, along with new ones that have been very impressive, all have released hot tracks. In fact there are so many hits that we are going to share them with you in two parts!

The summer started with the release of Mumzy Stranger's single "One More Dance." The video was slick as Mumzy Stranger glided across the dance floor looking as suave as could be. Mumzy's unique voice and fun track caught everyone's attention. Then producer Rishi Rich made a comeback with a remix of "One More Dance" featuring Punjabi lyrics and H-Dhami's vocals. The remix took over UK radio stations and became the song to check out at this summer’s London Mela!

Urban Desi star turned mainstream artist Jay Sean continues to electrify Desis around the globe. With his success in the UK and India, Jay Sean was ready to conquer America as he signed with Cash Money Records. His single "Down" was far from down. It has climbed to the top of the iTunes top 100 list, hit top 3 on the billboard chart, and is now being played continuously on all radio stations. "Down" was also released in Canada where it set all sorts of records. Like we keep saying, it's a Jay Sean craze and it's taking over the music scene!

Newcomer Parichay went to India and released his album "No Boundaries." With the release of the album came the video for "Deewana Tera (She Makes Me Crazy)," featuring Roach Killa and Blitzkrieg. "Deewana Tera (She Makes Me Crazy)" hit all TV stations and got Parichay lots of love. And now that he's headed to the UK, there's no knowing what he’s going to do next!

Swami has been on the scene for a decade and has no intentions of slowing down. This band released the single "Sugarless" which has become one of our favorites. There is no one else on the Urban Desi scene that has a sound quite like Swami's. The fun beat and catchy tunes have gotten music listeners excited for Swami's next album entitled '53431.'
