Swami: S-: That is a good question. We all have widespread musical tastes ranging across many genres. Speaking for myself.... (cont'd)

Swami: S-: my main influences range from Prince, to Nine Inch Nails, to Tupac to Joni Mitchell, Daft Punk, Will-I-Am...

Swami: S-: We admire progressive, modern artists and musicians that aren't afraid to move forward and try new things!

Swami S-: It's a journey thru sound that has constantly evolved yet retains the same ethos & desire to NEVER repeat ourselves.

Desi Hits: One of our favorite Swami songs, "Sugarless" gets a face today...are you excited about launching this video! Give us the scoop!

Swami: S-: What separates us from many desi and pop acts is our musicianship. We are a proper live band who tour internationally and....

Swami: S-: .... the 'Sugarless' video reflects that with footage from massive shows we have headlined at all over the world.

Swami: S-: We put a lot of effort into our live shows..after seeing this video those who have not yet seen us live will want to for sure!

Desi Hits: Its great that you put so much emphasis into your live shows. It's always great when a band out performs how they sound on disc!

Swami: DJ: well that is the whole point now..a music act mus be worth seeing live, cos alot of the music is getting streamed for free..

Swami: S-: A live show is a whole different energy level to a recorded track....we keep this in mind when we are writing the songs...

Desi Hits: So guys, whats next for Swami? Any new productions, remixes, or original pieces in the pipeline?

Swami: DJ: We are completing our internaional album for release early 2010..crazy desi music influences but all in English..

Swami: S-: ..currently writing&recording our nu album -an international Eng. language pop album which will c a major worldwide release.

Swami: DJ: The success of Sugarless is helping our transition to the new international album...

Swami: S-: Also DJ Tspoon's mashup of Sugarless with Akon's Beautiful has had the stamp of approval from Akon himself. Ppl r digging it!

Swami: DJ: Sugarless is about obsessive relationships that are not true love..and when you have too much candy your teeth fall out
