Update: Mumbai Terror Attacks Continue

Horrific terror attacks which began late Wednesday night in Mumbai continue over 24 hours later. The Deccan Mujahadeen has claimed responsibility for attacks which hit landmark Mumbai sites such as the Taj Hotel, the Oberoi hotel, Leopold's restaurant, Chattrapati Shivaji railway terminal, the Nariman House residential complex, the Chabad House, the Cama hospital, and GT hospital among others.
The death toll has reached 125, with over 300 injured. Among those killed include the chief of police anti terror squad, Hemant Karkare, at least 14 policemen and 9 foreigners. Hostage situations continued into Thursday night, with the police and army gaining control of 17 floors of the 19 story Oberoi hotel and most of the Taj hotel early Friday morning, with all but one terrorist killed at the Taj hotel. Commandos combed the Oberoi hotel floor by floor searching for hostages and terrorists. At press time the fire at the Taj hotel has been contained and gunshots have ceased for the time being. It's being expected that police officials may give an all clear signal within a few hours. Hostages were also taken at the Nariman House, where at one point there were 6 confirmed terrorists holed up.
It's being reported that the terrorists entered the city on boats as well as possibly by air. Police have found an abandoned boat that could've possibly been used by a terrorist. 26 terrorists have been confirmed thus far, with a majority being either killed or arrested. It's being said that the terrorists had control centers in both the Oberoi and Taj hotels to carry out the most contrived terrorist attack in Mumbai's history.
The UN, US and UK leaders among others have all condemned the attacks, and while their was suspicion that Pakistan militants may have been involved, Pakistan's President has spoken out condemning the attacks and denied any of the terrorists were from Pakistan.
Many are calling these attacks India's 9/11, as it marks one of the most horrific attacks on the financial and entertainment capital of the world's largest democracy. Again, our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the loved ones who were hurt or injured in these attacks as the story continues to unfold.

I thinks so, the terrorists (even if they are pakistani) don't represent all Pakistani's they are a small group that want india and pakistan to go to war so that both countries will suffer, innocent people will be killed and then India will go back to being a struggling 3rd world country spending all its resources on killing innocent pakistani's rather than feeding its poor, growing its economy and educating its people and growing industry which will make it a world leader one day. You are all ignorant - and its people like you that will hold your own country back because you will insight hate and violence which leads to distruction not growth. India is in major growth mode and if we go to war it will drag us back 50 years and china will take over. We need to mourn our loss and then build harmony in our country - terrorists killed muslims, hindus and sikhs and christians and then we finish the job for them by creating more hate - this is what they want - i'm reading below thinking OMG this is what they want, for us to all hate each other and create more violence and distruction - PLEASE for the sake of your own lives and families don't be so dumb and fall for it..
