Bhangra artists all over the world are showing their support and sending their condolences out for Santokh Singh Rataurh, better known to all as Kaka Bhaniawala, who passed away on the morning of April 13 due to complications from Jaundice.  The news has hit swift and hard to those who found his story to be very sudden.

We'd also like to show you a video clip of Juggy D, Taj E, and Bee2 reminiscing on the good times they had with Kaka Bhaniawala and offering their condolences to Kaka's family, most notably his young son.  Kaka Bhaniawala is going to be on Taj E's new album, so it would be nice to hear some of Kaka's final work whenever it's ready to be released.  Juggy D probably summed it up best when he said, "He's gone; he's going to be deeply missed but he's never going to be gone from our hearts and from our ears because his music because his music, I'm telling you, is still gonna be pumpin' all over the world because he was a great artist."

If you're in the Birmingham, England area, there will be a Dinner & Dance Fundraiser celebrating the life of Kaka Bhaniawala.  Anyone and everyone in the world of bhangra music from Taj E and Jaz Dhami to DJ H and DJ Rags will be attending this event on May 15.  Don't think of this as a sad time, but as a time to enjoy his music for that will never die.  If you're a fan of Kaka Bhaniawala's or just want to join a community that is still mourning his loss, this is where the entire bhangra community will be.  The reported amount of special guests that will be attending is staggering, all in tribute to a man bhangra will sorely miss.
