Video: Imran Khan's Day Out With the Slum Children

Bollywood teen sensation Imran Khan delivered a few endearing smiles and heartwarming hugs at Mumbai. He had some time to meet with children on Tuesday when he visited Akansha, a voluntary forum occupied in the welfare of slum children.

Imran Khan spent his time interacting with the kids. He also presented a check to the NGO as his personal donation.

Imran Khan said he liked to be associated with issues concerning betterment of women and children. Addressing the media, Imran Khan said that he liked to be associated with issues concerning the betterment of women and children.

Imran, modest as ever was content to spend time with the children as they did their best to showcase their skills to him.

"Last month, I had joined the Vagina Monologues to do a special show to end violence against women. I felt very strongly for children also. I have a lot of cousins who are younger than me. So I have a very good relation with kids. I love kids a lot. I like to associate myself with such causes. It's always a pleasure to spend time with children and this is an absolutely divine experience; I am here to tell these children to work hard and believe in themselves and that education is extremely important; I would like to do a lot more for the children."

The actor gave his thanks for the children by posing for photographs and also signing autographs for them. The expression on the faces of children undoubtedly showed that they were delighted.

When the excited children quizzed the actor about his favorite actors in Bollywood, Imran revealed that Aamir Khan and Hrithik Roshan were his favorite actors, while Kareena Kapoor topped the list among the heroines.

A good number of Bollywood celebrities are actively associated with social causes. Salman Khan, the 'bad boy of Bollywood', donates for the cause of aged while some other leading actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan have contributed for the upliftment of the weaker section of society.
